✨ What's new?
- Custom Endpoints and Middlewares Support: We've introduced support for custom endpoints and middlewares, providing developers with greater flexibility to extend and customize bot behavior through architectural decision records (ADR).
- Webchat Enhancements: We’ve introduced a suite of new tools to make your Webchat more professional:
- Markdown Support: Render bold, italics, and links for clearer communication.
- Cover Component: A new pre-chat screen to capture essential user info, like booking references, before the chat begins.
- Rating Component: Collect user feedback and measure satisfaction directly within the interface.
- New Chat Area: Inbox Refactor: We’ve completely redesigned the Chat Inbox to provide a modern, high-performance experience. While all functionalities remain the same, the new UI offers improved spacing, better readability, and a foundation for future innovations.
- Rollout: Agents will see the new Inbox by default but can toggle back to the old version until March 31, 2026. A full migration will take place on April 1, 2026.

- Slash command for templates to insert responses in seconds: We have introduced a new keyboard-driven shortcut to dramatically speed up your workflow. By typing a slash (/) in the message editor, agents can search and select templates instantly, slashing insertion time from 30s to just 3s. This shortcut keeps you focused on the conversation by eliminating unnecessary clicks.
Note: This feature requires activation. Please reach out to your Customer Success contact to enable it.

- Quick Replies Evolution: In both Webchat and the Flow Builder plugin, buttons can now function as Quick Replies, streamlining the user experience by offering clear, clickable options that disappear once selected.
- Email Editing Restrictions: To prevent access errors, the option to edit email addresses is now disabled for users with the "Agent" role.
- Webchat Branding: Added the "Powered by Hubtype" badge to the Webchat interface to maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints.
