The Notifications tab controls desktop alerts for your queues. You will see this reminder: To properly receive notifications, please make sure you have enabled notifications in your browser settings.

If the browser is blocking them, you see Notifications in browser are disabled. Please enable them in order to receive notifications. Allow notifications for the Hubtype site in the browser, then return to this tab.

Which events alert you

The heading is Select the types of notifications you wish to receive. Tick any of these:

Cases automatically assigned to me: a case was auto-assigned to you.
New cases entering waiting list: a new case arrived in a queue you belong to.
New message, in the cases assigned to me: a customer wrote in a case assigned to you.

Until you tick at least one type, the preference and the duration stay unavailable.

When alerts appear

Choose your notification preferences: receive alerts only when you're not active in Hubtype, or get them at all times.

Only when I'm not viewing this tab: the alert appears when Hubtype is not the active browser tab.
Always, even if I'm using this tab: the alert appears even while you are in Hubtype.

How long the alert stays

Set the notification duration to your preference. How long should the message remain visible?

Enter a number of seconds in Notification duration (in seconds). The field is required once you have selected at least one notification type.
