Overview

Connections define the logic and flow of your Conversational App.

They determine the order in which content nodes appear and how users move between different paths.

Understanding Connections

Each content node has purple triangles on its sides:

  • Left triangle → Source: Connects to the previous content.
  • Right triangle → Target: Connects to the next content.

If a content node includes buttons, each button will have its own connection point — allowing you to build different paths based on user selections.

Creating a Connection

  1. Hover over the content you want to connect from.
  2. Click and drag from the target (right triangle) of the first node.
  3. Drop it onto the source (left triangle) of the next node.

A line will appear connecting both contents — representing the conversation path.

Deleting a Connection

  1. Click on the connection line.
  2. A trash icon will appear.
  3. Click the icon to delete the connection.

This removes only the link, not the content nodes themselves.

Best Practices

  • Keep your connections clear and direct to avoid crossing lines.
  • Group related messages close together for readability.
  • Label your contents clearly with meaningful IDs.
  • Regularly use the Preview to confirm that the flow behaves as expected.
